Owned by Donald Smith Jr., the company was created to help municipalities, commercial properties, and facility managers keep their required testing simple, accurate, and properly documented.

Donald brings 12 years of experience in the wastewater industry, including work with municipalities and water operations. That hands-on background gives Keystone Backflow Testing a practical understanding of how public water systems, compliance requirements, and documentation standards all connect.

Before building a career in water and wastewater, Donald served in the U.S. Army as a Chemical Operations Specialist. That experience shaped the way he approaches the work today: prepared, disciplined, detail-focused, and accountable.

Meet
Donald Smith Jr.
Donald Smith Jr. is the owner of Keystone Backflow Testing and an ASSE 5110 certified backflow prevention assembly tester. He has spent more than a decade working in wastewater and water operations, primarily with municipalities, where he developed a strong understanding of water systems, compliance, and the importance of accurate documentation.
Donald is also a veteran and served in the U.S. Army as a Chemical Operations Specialist. Outside of the water industry, he is passionate about farming, agriculture, and regenerative land stewardship. That connection to water, land, and public health is a natural part of why Keystone Backflow Testing exists.
